I am currently the Internet Marketing Specials at Herb Chambers Infiniti of Westborough. There are actually three dealerships on the property – Infiniti, Ford and Hyundai – and I handle the internet marketing for all three.
My duties include taking photos of all of the new and used cars as well as writing descriptions for those vehicles. I also manage all three Facebook pages, keeping all posts relevant while ensuring that they are within corporate and manufacturer guidelines.
I work closely with management in different departments to ensure that the websites are updated with coupons and specials. I also work with the general managers, sales managers and pre-owned managers to make sure that vehicle descriptions and photos are accurate and informative, highlighting key details and information that will be attractive to customers.
Previously, I worked at Progressive Pro./Caterer’s Warehouse in Rochdale, MA. Serving catering, hospitality, food service, awards and promotional products industries, PP/CW is one of America’s leading sources for tabletop supplies; their products include hard-to-find items directed towards these industries, including glassware, china, cake stands, Paul Revere bowls and trophies.
As the sales and marketing assistant for a small company, I wore a lot of hats. I processed all Internet sales orders (including website, eBay and Amazon purchases), as well as the majority the telephone orders. We primarily used Quickbooks, though towards the end of my time there, we switched over to Stone Edge as our ordering software. I worked closely with vendors and management on large orders, quotes and bids.
I actively worked on the website, uploading new products and editing item descriptions. I also wrote press releases for industry publications and assist with other projects as needed. I also worked closely with our customer service manager, assisting with a variety of tasks wherever and whenever possible.
